Most of the people that knew about their story are through Emmy’s blog describing their struggle. Nobody knew Emmy’s influence on her blog to anyone who’s reading it. Blogging started to herself as a catharsis and for touching a few individuals, but it had a much more significant impact than she ever thought.

Emmy had celebrated her best friend Leona’s marriage. She lived her best life and did not let her disease stand in the way. She was eager to remember clearly as many great memories as possible. On behalf of Emmy, Leona ran in a marathon spreading cancer awareness and had bracelets handed to all in support of Emmy at her wedding.
