In 2013, she was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer. This was already rare enough on its own, but what made it even more unusual was that she has dwarfism. Her cholangiocarcinoma developed from a failed pregnancy. It took shape in the cells that should have been the placenta of the baby. If you watched the seventh season of the show, you probably know all about her recovery and treatment. While she was going through remission, the doctors had to keep a close eye on her. After all, most recurrences took place within 18 months. We are glad to say that Jen remains cancer-free in 2020!
