The bullies believed that it was amusing to steal the ball from Joey without any intention of returning it. Things were starting to intensify and yet, no one came to help the poor boy. For those around the area, it seemed as if things were normal as it looked like they were just playing with one another. But in fact, things were a lot worse as the teenagers had an ulterior motive.

One of the bullies shouted “Hey kid, a nice ball you got there. Can I see it?” And before Joey could act, the bully snatched the ball away from him. The poor boy tried to fight back as he yelled “It’s mine!” But the bullying went on as the bully said, “Come on, just give it to me, man. It’s just a ball.” While this was happening, they were unaware that they were being watched.
