It was upsetting to see that the place his son enjoyed the most suddenly became his worst nightmare, as his once safe place no longer made him feel safe because of the bullies. The teenagers come over to Joey as he was starting to play with his ball. Unfortunately for the bullies, they were unaware that someone was watching over them. Whatever they were planning to do wasn’t clear, but they soon began to tar Joey Mason. This has been happening for several weeks, and no matter where Joey Mason goes, it seemed like the bullies were following him no matter what. Joey was a strong and courageous young man, so he tried to ignore the name-calling that they were doing to him. The bullies weren’t pleased with this and decided to up their bullying their game.
