The Mother Refused As Well
Not only did the child disregard the demands of the people, but his mother also refused to give any sign of notice nor respect. After all, if she was ignorant about the situation, then her son will obviously be the same as her. She wasn’t minding anyone at all as she was focused on the phone just like the “lay downer” and was consumed by whatever she was listening to. The people around them found the situation to be unsettling.

The kid soon felt that his actions created some form of tension on people on the train, as they became more enraged with every passing moment while they were waiting in front of him. In order to avoid upsetting them a bit more, the kid tried to crouch up to give some space so that others would be able to sit down.
