When they were finally able to take a good look at it, they realized something very important. This object did not come from this period in time. As a matter of fact, it was very ancient! They took a piece of it and looked at it under a microscope. They only wanted to understand this object better.

They did their research and looked at the object closely. It came as a shock to realize that it was a fossil! It was no ordinary fossil either since it came from an ancient turtle. Perhaps the craziest thing about it was that it was linked to one more discovery happening on the other side of the globe at the same time.
