Perhaps the most worrying part was when he began to hear voices. Christopher was unable to decipher what they were saying, but he shouted, “Who’s there?” His echo was the only response that he received. Filled with more courage now, he wanted to see who was down there with him.

He was now surrounded by water and dirt. His boots dug in deeper with each step that he took. Among other things, he found a ventilation system that looked like it was crumbling. He also saw chains hanging near one another, but they all seemed rusty and moldy.
