After getting ready for this excursion, he went in with the flashlight and spare batteries. The darkness enveloped him upon entry.

During his first attempt, Christopher only went as deep as 150 feet. He was aware that he had to keep going regardless of what he found down there. It was the one way he could get the answers that he wanted so badly. Around 600 feet into this tunnel, he found a door. It was where the water came from!
