Her parents, Schaffen and Christin, split up when Kelsey was young. Since she was so little, it was very difficult for Kelsey, but it was great to have a big family and always be accompanied by cousins as well as siblings. Without a great support system in place, Kelsey might have been much more impacted by the divorce.
