Joshua’s dad, Jim, had another assumption. He was certain that the man terrorizing his son and daughter-in-law was an old tenant of the guesthouse. This was what he said to WXYZ-TV Detroit: “The gentleman that lived here originally… (jumped) out this window, which is one story down.”

The couple still had no clue who was in their daughter’s room, regardless of everyone’s ideas. Heather said, “It scares us that it could do something else, it’s not physically just going after her, it feels like it’s going after us too. This has forced us to want to leave as soon as possible. The sooner, the better we’re out of here. This is a spirit! I don’t know what its goal is, but at this point, it’s becoming physically harmful.”
