At the beginning of her career, Sandra Smith worked as a research associate for Aegis Capital. After that, she worked at Hermitage Capital and Terra Nova. Her first on-screen reporter assignment came when she joined Bloomberg TV. She signed a contract with Fox to join the launching of the Fox Business Network in 2007.
