The Richter family actually had six members. The parents, Amber and Erik, the three daughters, and their son who was named Rowan. And it was Rowan who had been hiding in the trunk of their car. At that point, the rest of the family started to scream and shrike because of their surprise and excitement. It turned out that the hooded figure was none other than him all along. And finally, the missing piece of the puzzle had been found. Now, everything made more sense.

A Surprise For The Family
Rowan Richter was a marine, and at first, he told all of them that he would not be able to make it for their family getaway because he had to stay back. Rowan was supposed to be far away from where they were, and he was not supposed to be in their car. The mother and the three daughters were shocked when they saw him until everything sank in. The mother, Amber Richter, went out of the car and cried out to Rowan, “Oh my god, you scared the heck out of me!”
