You Have To Follow A Dress Code
It makes a lot of sense for there to be a dress code at a taping of a television show. After all, the audience members are going to have an effect on the show’s aesthetic. The coordination team only wants the audience to be at their best. Keep in mind that you will appear on national TV, so clean up!
No Logos On Clothes
Among other things, you are not allowed to wear clothing with logos on them. You should not even wear something with Ellen’s name! The team recommends dressing in bright and solid colors. On the other hand, audience members are discouraged from wearing busy patterns like paisley and polka dots since they tend to move onscreen, buzz, or distract viewers. If you ever don something with these on, you will be seated in the back so that you are not going to be caught on camera.
