As weird as it may seem, Ellen will not sign her name for any of her audience remembers. If you’re lucky you might get away with a selfie- but only when prompted. The staff has said that it’s only for time reasons that giving her signature to every person would take hours. And we all know Ellen doesn’t have time for that. There are a lot of people in the audience, so sorry autograph hunters it ain’t going to happen!

No Hugging
So the truth is that Ellen is more than happy to hug celebs that she knows very well, but when it comes to audience members there is a strict ‘no hugging’ rules. Guests are told to follow her lead, so if she doesn’t lean in for the hug, neither should you. Many have said that she simply does not like physical contact- so be aware, you might easily get booted out if you even try touching her.
