In real life, stepmoms are usually nothing like the wicked women they are made out to be in films. Snow White and Cinderella might have bad luck with theirs, but life is not like these fairytales. We are just glad that there are a couple of movies that celebrate parents that are not related to you. Enchanted, which is a parody of Disney princess movies, shows the main character turning into a stepmom herself!

It is pretty crazy to think that they found her suitable to play the love interest of Jeff Bridges, who was 65 years old back then, in Crazy Heart. Hollywood likes to pair a man with a woman much younger than him. It feels like age-appropriate couples get flak for no good reason. In Spectre, people expressed disbelief that Monica Bellucci was cast as a Bond girl when she is an “older woman.” Mind you, she is only three years older than Daniel Craig!
