Wil Wheaton, best known for starring in Star Trek: The Next Generation< played a murderer on the show. Rick Dunkle, one of the writers, was in cloud nine as he is a huge fan. He asked to be involved and got cast as the victim. Despite this, Dunkle was thrilled that he got to do it.

A.J. Cook Agreed To Be Waterboarded For A Scene
In the 200th episode of the show, JJ gets tortured. This is not only pretend, however. A.J. Cook actually went through the real thing to a certain extend. She was indeed chained up and even agreed to undergo a horrible torture technique called waterboarding. This was done to make that scene more realistic.
