LeAnn Rimes
An odd aspect of Coyote Ugly is that Violet spends a lot of time working on a track that the audience has actually already heard. The character’s song is “Can’t Fight The Moonlight,” the real-life song written by Diane Warren and performed by LeAnn Rimes. To clear up any confusion, LeAnn swings in at the movie’s finale to perform the hit that is said to have been written by Violet. The track is also the “theme song” of the film.
