There are a lot of scenes in Coyote Ugly that was shot in the iconic bar. However, the bar actually had to be redesigned. Before she started to pursue a career in acting, Bridget Moynahan, one of the film’s lead actresses, was a model. When she got cast to play the bartender Rachel set, designers realized Moynahan was too tall to go up on the bar and dance! “[W]hen we had the first rehearsal, they didn’t make the ceiling high enough for Tyra [Banks] and me to be able to stand on the bar. We had to sit that one out,” Moynahan told The Ringer in an interview.

Izabella Miko
After Coyote Ugly was released in 2000, it gained a cult following. Izabella Miko, one of the film’s main actresses who played the character, Cammie, was also in another cult movie. Interestingly, it is another 2000 dance film – Center Stage. Before pursuing an acting career, Miko did ballet at Warsaw’s National Ballet School and the American School of Ballet, which was the inspiration for the American Ballet Academy in the movie Center Stage.
