There is a part in the film where Violet has a love interest, Kevin join an auction at Coyote Ugly. One of the movie’s iconic scenes starts with Kevin dancing around on the counter, similar to what the ladies normally do. Violet then begins to auction him off to pretty eager ladies, one of whom is none other than the star Kaitlin Olson! She hilariously eggs Kevin on while shouting out her bids against the other women. Her role was brief, but it did show off her comedic skills, which helped land her the lead roles she plays on It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia.

Kaitlin Olson’s comedic talent was already showcased during her time with the improv group The Groundlings. She then made appearances on Curb Your Enthusiasm, Punk’d, Family Guy, and in Coyote Ugly. However, she rose to fame in 2004. When she started playing a lead role on the popular sitcom, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia. The series is really successful and has the distinction of being “the longest-running live-action comedy series.” She has been expanding her horizons by starring in the TV series The Mick. She has also been nominated for an Emmy for her performance on Flipped. She has also appeared in films, including Leap Year, The Heat, and Finding Dory.
