The Progressive Insurance Woman is one of the best-recognized faces in the world of commercials. Even though we call her Flo, Stephanie Courtney is her real name. She has an iconic upbeat attitude that has made audiences love her over the years. She became popular right away, which explains why Flo has appeared in more than a hundred commercials. This character has become so big that they made an Australian rendition as well. In the land down under, the character is called Kitty and played by Holly Austin. The actor helped raise awareness of the brand among men, which cemented that the brand is for men as much as it is for women. We are sure that Chanel felt happy about spending all that money! Even before the scandal around Jared Fogle came to light, Subway was already going downhill. Sadly, it still shelled out $15 million to get him for a commercial. It turned out that he shed 245 pounds by eating Subway sandwiches. When the scandal broke out, the company only declined some more. Its attempt to improve sales backfired on it. As you can see, the company made better decisions than to hire Jared Fogle. You see, he is actually a convicted sex offender. After admitting to sex crimes against minors, the actor received a jail sentence of 15 years. While he was behind bars, another inmate beat him up because he “can’t be around child molesters.” In all honestly, we do not feel all that bad for him.
Catherine Zeta – $20 Million
T-Mobile hired the actress to endorse the telecommunications agency but could not believe just how big of a hit the commercial was. Catherine Zeta-Jones got a fat $20 million paycheck for her work. Even though the company ended up replacing her, it still adores the actress and offered her to come back as a spokesmodel. If you thought that Angelina Jolie got lucky with her $10 million paycheck, this one is even more incredible because it was double that amount! We do not know a lot of companies that can afford to pay someone this much money for an endorsement, although T-Mobile said that the sales went up significantly after it. This is a true success story not only for the company but also for the actress.

Jay Z is one of the most well-known people in show business, so it was a good idea for Samsung to use the rapper as a promoter of the Samsung Galaxy phone. He brought home $20 million for this gig! A lot of people probably want to use a Galaxy phone just because their idol uses one. The company witnessed an immediate improvement in social media followers and online traffic after this, so it was a good move on their part. This was a win-win situation for both the phone company and the musician. Not only did he get to promote his album by doing so, but he also got a big fat paycheck for this marketing ploy. Don’t you wish that you can bring home millions of dollars just for using a Samsung phone? Sigh.

There is no doubt that Beyonce is one of the most famous people in this day and age. This lady is not only talented but also fierce. She has an incredibly big fan base, which explains why Pepsi was willing to shell out $50 million for her endorsement. As you can see, it takes a lot of money if you want to hire someone with such a mesmerizing voice and stunning beauty! At any rate, the soda company had no qualms about paying so much money just to have her be the face of the brand. Sadly, this did not end up being the best decision Pepsi has ever made. In the end, the sales only went down by 4 to 7%. Oops.
50 Cent – $80 Million
How did 50 Cent become one of the best paid celebrity endorsers? Well, it happened when Reebok shelled out $80 million to bring the rapper on board. His face was used to advertise the G Unit Sneakers, which basically meant that he got paid a lot of money just to wear and model the sneakers. We have a fun fact for you about this. When they aired the commercial, it became the top-earning commercial in history. The company definitely made the right call by getting 50 Cent for this job. Rebook sales went up right away. The rapper did not only get the money but also free shoes. It turns out that the sales had been so high that Reebok found it hard to have enough stock of the shoes when the holiday season came around. At any rate, they definitely made good use of the $80 million they paid 50 Cent.
LeBron James – $90 Million ($12.9 Million A Year)
You do not even have to be a basketball fan to know who Lebron James is. As one of the most famous and talented ballers out there, it was only a given that he would end up with a huge contract with one of the biggest sports apparel companies out there. If you thought that Reebok paid 50 Cent a lot of money, wait until you hear that LeBron James got paid $90 million, although the contract indicates that it will be spread out over seven years. While LeBron James only gets to put on Nike shoes for the duration of it, we are sure that it is worth all that money. Man, we really should have pursued a sports career instead. At any rate, the endorsement proved to be a huge success. Nike saw a sales increase of $350 million!
Tiger Woods – $100 Million
You were wrong if you thought that Tiger Woods would no longer land endorsement deals after all the controversy. He has still managed to bag a contract with Nike after the scandal. In fact, they did not only hire him but also paid him $100 million. After his unbelievable behavior, the endorsement deal had every chance to be a big failure. Many people could not help but be surprised to hear that the sales of the company went up after this move! The golfer showed us that he is truly unstoppable even though it had been a risky thing for Nike to do. We have no idea why they were willing to risk $100 million on him but that does not change the fact that they made the right call.
David Beckham – $160 Million
We are not shocked to hear that David Beckham is the top-paid celebrity endorser. This marketable athlete has amazing athleticism, good looks, and millions of fans. All of these things explain why Adidas gave him $160 million to be the face of the sports brand. You probably had no idea that this was not the first time for him to help the company improve its sales. When David Beckham was endorsing the products of the sports apparel company, the sales immediately went up. The endorsement deal proved to be a big success and a beneficial decision for both Beckham and Adidas.
