Napoleon Dynamite (2004)

How do we even begin to describe Napoleon Dynamite to someone who has never seen it before? Maybe “subtly hilarious” will do. It tells the story of an eccentric high school kid called Napoleon who wears moon boots. We also have his quirky brother, his best friend, and Uncle Rico. The film would just not be the same if it were not for this wacky set of characters. Overall, the comedy flick is delightful to watch. Some people just “don’t get it,” but it is all the more charming for its originality in our books.

Trading Places (1983)

It is worth noting that the John Landis classic was nominated for the Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy Award at the Golden Globes. Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd were amazing as the lead actors in the movie. They were thrown into a role reversal under the Duke brothers. As they lead the other’s life, they drew a lot of laughs out of the viewers! We also want to talk about how amazing Ralph Bellamy and Don Ameche were in the roles of Randolph Duke and Mortimer Duke, respectively. It is not even a stretch to say that the movie defined their already successful careers.
