The truth was that this scene was supposed to celebrate the stateside arrival of the Italian star in Beverly Hills in 1957. As she sat beside Webb, the celebrant was bombarded by his assets. Was it a publicity stunt for Jayne Mansfield? Loren was caught in the photo. Mansfield was tearing her eyes away from Loren. Besides this photo, she has refused to sign prints of this photo.
