Molly Cheek played the role of the unfortunate witness in one of the significant scenes in American Pie. The actress acted as Jim’s mother named Mrs. Levenstein. Noah, Jim’s father, always embarrassed the kid with advice and speeches while Mrs. Levenstein was portrayed as caring and tolerant of Jim’s various hormonal teenage schemes. She remained thoughtful even though her famous Apple Pie was being destroyed and was typically seen comforting Jim and advising Noah to be cool. Mrs. Levenstein had a small role in one of the sequels but was never seen again.

Molly Cheek had entered Hollywood since the ’70s and had starred in countless movies and television shows. Some of her notable roles were in Harry and the Hendersons and The Gary Shandling Show. Molly Cheek continually became a regular presence that had leading roles in popular television shows like Cold Case, Diagnosis Murder, Family Ties, Murder, She Wrote, and St. Elsewhere. After American Pie, the actress also appeared in the movies titled A Lot Like Love and Drag Me to Hell. Molly Cheek came from Connecticut but was now residing in Los Angeles.
